barcito

403 W. 12TH STREET, LOS ANGELES

(213) 415 – 1821

barcito, an Argentinian tapas restaurant is blowing up with delicious shared plates and tasty cocktails. Located in Downtown Los Angeles on 12th and Grand Ave. Just three blocks away from Staples Center.

Andrea ( General Manger, Owner) opened barcito with a vision of providing fresh shared plates at an affordable price for locals. Everything on the menu is under $15 with craft beers and cocktails under $11.

I tried a number of dishes and I can say all were excellent! My favorites were the chicken liver mousse, risotto a la sepia (squid ink risotto), pulpo ( crispy squid, fried egg, salsa verde), and the langostinos. Don’t forget dessert. Their churros are out of this world!

What a gem!

Ways to my Heart

Saw this quote while shopping at the new Whole Foods in DTLA. I couldn’t agree more. 😂

If you haven’t checked out this location you must go now. I know some of you will say it’s just Whole Foods BUT trust me, this one is amazing! It’s huge! They have everything including a  barbecue station, a restaurant with full bar, and even Chego! You will occasionally see Roy Choi serving a Chubby Pork Belly Bowl.

Parking is plentiful as they have 170+ dedicated spaces for shoppers.

E3 after party sponsored by: b spot games

I got to attend an E3 after party sponsored by b spot games. The event was taken place at the AT&T Building in DTLA. We got to mix and mingle over delicious cocktails and tasty light bites. It was so much fun networking and chatting with some amazing gamers and developers. The best part was enjoying all this with incredible skyscraper views of downtown.

    Tasty old fashioned
